Since entering the financial services industry in 1986, Kristina J. Sommerkamp has been committed to providing the highest quality of service and sound investment advice based on thorough and timely research.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Economics from the University of South Carolina. she currently holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Investment Advisor Affiliate. She has recently earned her Masters of Science in Financial Services.

As President of Sommerkamp Insurance and Financial Services, Kristina shows a seasoned understanding in meeting the needs of high net worth individuals, successful professionals, business owners, and retirees. Because of her long experience in defending doctors against medical malpractice claims, Kristina has a special aptitude in working with investors in the medical profession. She conducts numerous seminars designed to help women investors; she often works with women who have unexpectedly had to start managing their own finances. She also presents seminars on Estate Planning, Tax Planning, Wealth Creation, and Wealth Preservation for the general public and private corporations.

Thorough and innovative, Ms. Sommerkamp focuses her business career on estate and retirement planning, Series 7, 63, and 65 brokerage of stocks and bonds, investment planning, and pension planning. She also specializes in wealth creation through managed accounts and portfolio analysis.

Kristina treats her clients in a manner in which she would like to be treated under similar circumstances; she likes to take a caring and concerned approach in dealing with her clients and always places her clients‘ interests foremost. Trust, integrity, and outstanding service are the cornerstones of her business and her personal commitment to every client. Honesty and professionalism have earned her the respect and admiration of her clients and associates as evidenced by her receipt of various honors and awards, including President’s Council at ING.

She specializes in helping small business owners set up health and disability insurance plans, pension plans, life insurance, buyout planning, and estate planning. Kristina connects people with a team of advisors including accountants and attorneys in the area.

Active in the community, Kristina is a sustainer with Junior League of Boca Raton and member of the Lupus Foundation Ball Committee. She resides in Boca Raton with her husband Erich. In her leisure time, she enjoys snow-skiing, golf, and polo.
